Raw Hummus Salad

Kids love putting hummus on their salads! Sprouted raw hummus is definitely one of their favorites!

What’s the way to do it?

  • 1/2 cup dry chickpeas

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 garlic clove

  • black pepper

  • 1 cup filtered water

  • for the salad: mixed leafy greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red cabbage, mung bean sprouts

Rinse the dried chickpeas and place them in a bowl and cover richly with water. Let them sit overnight. Drain and rinse the peas and let them sprout in a bag sprouter for 3-4 days cleaning and rinsing them every 8-12 hours. Once sprouted, blend your peas with rest of the ingredients in a high speed blender and click a generous amount of your hummus onto the salad. Enjoy!
